As you may have noticed I love buying handmade for the children, but there is no denying that there is a lot less choice for boys than girls. I originally came across the club house cushion on One Thimble’s Instagram feed while I was looking for a show stopping piece for this year’s ‘Collaborate 4 A Cause’ book nook collaboration. Once I found it I also knew the kid’s needed one each and that they would make the perfect Christmas gift.
You might have seen my previous blog featuring Elsie’s gorgeous clubhouse cushion and today I have quickly done another little shoot of Michael’s, while the kid’s are with their Grandma. It is now back, tucked away safe and sound for Christmas morning.
Again like Elsie’s, The wonderful Michelle of The Toffee Tree made this clubhouse cushion for Michael from Riley Blake Design’s ‘Greatest Adventure‘ range. It comes complete with insert to fill with beanbag beans, quilted top, piping and two fabric handles on sides.
This will be a gorgeous addition to Michael’s room and I hope he spends many an hour relaxing and reading in glorious handmade comfort.
Now, I must be off to pick up the children and pretend this never happened. Santa game face on!
