Today I am showing off the work of the lovely Tanya of the sewing blog Sewvolution.
Tanya began sewing after her love (buying) of handmade was getting her in trouble with hubby (know the feeling) and so she set about teaching herself to sew. A few years down the track and Tanya has now reached the point where she is sharing her sewing journey, evolution and expertise on her blog. So inspiring!
Tanya was so kind to send me a custom Jaunty Dress made from a pattern by Tadah Patterns. I love that Tanya has spliced the bodice to give it an added pop of personality and endless combos! You can see her pattern hack here.
This is such a fun dress in a beautiful Organic Cotton also by Tadah Patterns with the perfect amount of stretch so it won’t constrict play and cut at a retro length so the skirt won’t get in the way either.
Add some knee high socks and some Converse chucks and you’ve got skater girl vibes!
